California Privacy Notice
Last updated: May 28, 2026
This notice is for California residents. It describes the personal information Ask Ledo collects, what we do with it, and the rights you have under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended. We extend the rights described here to California residents whether or not we are currently a covered business under the law. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Our position and role
The California Consumer Privacy Act applies in full only to companies that cross certain size thresholds. As a young company, Ask Ledo may not yet meet them. We have chosen to honor the core rights below for California residents regardless, because it reflects how we believe data should be handled.
It also matters that much of the personal information we handle does not belong to us. It belongs to our clients. When we process data that a client has loaded into our products, the client is the business that decides how the data is used, and Ask Ledo acts as a service provider on the client's behalf. Section eight explains what that means for you.

Why we collect it
We use the categories above to provide and operate the Service, to apply the changes you approve, to generate AI insights, to communicate with you, to keep the platform secure, to improve it, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not use the information for purposes that are unrelated or incompatible with these without telling you first.
We do not sell or share your information
Ask Ledo does not sell your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We have not done so in the past twelve months, and we do not sell the personal information of minors. We do disclose information to the service providers that help us run the platform, which is a different thing from selling it, and those providers are bound by contract to protect it.
Sensitive personal information
The law gives special treatment to certain sensitive information. The only category that applies to us is your account login and password, which we collect so that you can sign in, and which we store only in encrypted form. We use it solely to provide the Service, which is a purpose the law permits without triggering a right to limit. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
Your California rights
Right to know
Ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we shared it with.
Right to access
Get a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
Right to delete
Ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
Right to correct
Ask us to fix personal information that is inaccurate.
Right to opt out
Direct us not to sell or share your personal information. Because we do neither, there is nothing here you need to opt out of.
Right to non-discrimination
Use any of these rights without being denied service, charged a different price, or given a lower quality of service.
How to exercise your rights
To make a request, contact us at support@askledo.com. We will confirm we received it and respond within forty-five days. If we need more time, we may extend that once, up to a total of ninety days, and we will let you know.
To protect your information, we will need to verify your identity before we act, usually by matching details you give us against what we already hold. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, in which case we will ask for proof that you gave them permission. We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal where it applies to us.
Data we hold on behalf of our clients
If your personal information is in our products because one of our clients put it there — for example as a lead or a contact — then that client, not Ask Ledo, decides how the data is used. In that case the best path is to send your request directly to the client you dealt with. If you reach us instead, we will help that client respond, and we will not use the data for our own purposes.
