Ask Ledo LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates askledo.com and the products connected to it, including AdMachine, LeadMachine, and the Ledo intelligence layer (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Who we are and what this covers
Ask Ledo is an AI services company. We build and operate intelligence tools that manage advertising, customer relationships, and related work, often by connecting to accounts and data that our clients authorize. This policy applies to information we handle as the company behind the Service. It also explains our role when we process data on behalf of a client, which is covered in section four.
Information we collect
Account information
When you or your team create an account, we collect your name, email address, and the password you set, which is stored only in encrypted form. We may also collect your phone number, company name, and role when you provide them.
Data you bring into our products
Our products store the working data you put into them. For customer relationship work, that includes lead and contact records, notes, tags, custom fields, assignments, and communication history. For advertising work, that includes the configuration and constraints you set for each account we manage.
Connected accounts and integrations
When you authorize a connection, we access only what that connection requires. This may include:
- Google Ads, for the accounts you authorize, so that we can read performance and apply the changes you approve
- Google Calendar, for scheduling features, where you enable them
- Other services you choose to connect, limited to the data you grant access to
You can disconnect an integration at any time, which ends our access going forward.
Data created by our AI features
When you use AI features, we process the inputs you provide along with publicly available business information in order to generate summaries, enrichment, and recommendations. We also create internal learnings from outcomes across the accounts we manage. These learnings are abstracted patterns rather than identifiable client data, and they never expose one client to another.
Usage and technical data
We automatically collect technical information when you use the Service, including your IP address and approximate location, browser and device type, pages and features used, access times, referral sources, and error and performance logs.
Communications
When you contact us, we keep your support requests, email correspondence, and feedback so that we can respond and improve.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Run audits, surface recommendations, and apply the changes you approve
- Generate AI summaries, enrichment, and insights
- Send account, security, and service messages, and respond to your requests
- Analyze usage to improve reliability, performance, and features
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues
- Comply with the law and enforce our agreements
We send product and marketing email only where permitted, and you can opt out of it at any time. Account, security, and service messages are part of using the Service and cannot be turned off while your account is active.
Data we process for clients
Much of the personal information in our products does not belong to us. It belongs to our clients and the people they do business with. When a client loads contacts, leads, or campaign data into the Service, that client decides why the data is collected and how it is used. In that situation the client acts as the controller of the data, and Ask Ledo acts as a service provider that processes the data on the client's behalf and under the client's instructions.
We do not use client data for our own purposes. We do not sell it, and we do not share one client's data with another. If you are an individual whose data was provided to us by one of our clients and you want to exercise a privacy right, please contact that client directly. We will support them in responding to your request.
How we share information
We do not sell your data
Ask Ledo does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your data. We also do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Service providers we rely on
We share data with a small set of trusted providers that help us run the platform. They are bound by contract to protect the data and to use it only for the purposes we specify.
- Google, for the Google Ads API, Google Calendar, and the embedding models that power our intelligence search
- Anthropic, for the Claude language models that power Ledo's responses
- Laravel Forge, for server provisioning and hosting
- GitHub, for source control and deployment
When you direct us to
When you connect a third-party service, data flows according to the settings you choose, and you can disconnect it at any time.
Legal reasons
We may disclose information where we believe in good faith that it is required to comply with the law or legal process, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ask Ledo, our users, or others, or to detect and prevent fraud or security issues.
Business transfers
If Ask Ledo is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and of any choices you may have.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in, maintain your session, and remember your settings. The public marketing site (askledo.com) uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage patterns. No advertising pixels or cross-site tracking are used. We honor recognized browser privacy signals, including Global Privacy Control, where they apply to us. You can control cookies through your browser, although some features of the Service may not work without them.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as it is needed to provide the Service and for a reasonable period afterward. Our products are built to preserve history rather than erase it, so when an account is archived its records remain available to the operator rather than being automatically deleted. Abstracted learnings that contain no identifying client data may be kept to keep improving the Service.
You can request deletion of your personal information as described in section nine. When you do, we will delete or de-identify it unless we are required to keep it to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or enforce our agreements.
Security
We protect data with measures that include encrypted connections for data in transit, encrypted storage of passwords, role-based access controls, per-product authentication keys, and account credentials that are kept separate from the data they unlock. Connected services authenticate through secure authorization flows, and we monitor for abuse.
No system is perfectly secure. You also play a part. Keep your password private, enable additional verification where it is offered, and tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:
- Access a copy of the information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
- Delete information, subject to the limits described in section seven
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing communications
You can manage much of this directly in your account settings. For anything else, contact us using the details in section fourteen, and we will respond within the time the law allows.
California privacy rights
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended. These include the right to know what we collect, to delete and correct information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to not be treated differently for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information. Full detail on these rights and how to use them is set out in our California Privacy Notice.
EEA and UK rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. We process personal information on the basis of contract, consent, and our legitimate interests in running and improving the Service. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in section fourteen.
Children's privacy
The Service is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under eighteen years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of the page, and we will give clearer notice of significant changes. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
